Dari has been a specialised, modern, innovative shipping company for over 38 years. Our focus is on inland waterway transport. We have a modern fleet and are experts in transporting dry cargo, containers, and liquid chemical and mineral products throughout the West European waterways.
FAMILY BUSINESS
Dirk Werkman founded Scheepvaartbedrijf Dari B.V. in 1985. Several years later, both of Dirk’s sons, Danny and Rino, entered the business, eventually taking over the helm in 2005.
Scheepvaartbedrijf Dari B.V.’s fleet has now expanded to include around thirty barges of various types and sizes.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide safe, environmentally friendly goods transport across Western Europe, from the Benelux to Switzerland.
DARI SHIPPING
Dari is a Dutch company, but it is also part of an international company. Our parent company includes Dari Shipping Luxembourg Sarl and Dari Shipping AG. Our barges are also regularly leased to other parties. We are a franchise operating under a unified brand name. While each entity operates independently, they all bear the same name, share the same image, and have a high level of professionalism.
